Obafemi Oye
Chairman
Obafemi Oye is an Independent Procurement Consultant with over 35 years of experience consulting for the World Bank Group and other projects worldwide. He has worked with several World Bank-assisted projects, in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure, education, health, energy, solid minerals, science & technology (ICT infrastructure), aviation, MSME, and environmental sectors amongst others.
Femi has also worked with projects from African Development Bank (AFDB), African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF), Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), European Investment Bank, Japan Policy and The Human Resource Development fund (PHRD), and several other multilateral and bilateral agencies.
He is the first Nigerian to undergo the International Procurement Best Practices Training Program at the World Bank Headquarters, Washington D.C. in 1988, and also the first Nigerian to consult on procurement for the World Bank Country Office/World Bank Assisted projects in Nigeria, both as an individual consultant and as the CEO of HSL (Highfield Stronghold Ltd.).
As the sole procurement consulting firm providing comprehensive procurement and consultancy services, HSL contributed to the success of the Nigerian Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), earning NEWMAP a 3 times award from the World Bank.
With a Civil Engineering background, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Management Science from the University of Southampton, UK, and belongs to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply in the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants Nigeria (FIMCN), and at the Centre for Public Service Productivity & Development (FCPSPD).
Femi is the chairman of the Highfield Stronghold Group of Companies Ltd. comprising HSL, HS Environmental Markets and Services Ltd., HS Luxury Homes Ltd., HS Energy Ltd., HS Innovation System Services Ltd, and HS Hospitalities Ltd.
He is passionate about the “Nigeria Reform Project” focused on impacting development through improved, strengthened, and sustainable best practices in procurement & system.

Peter Oye
CEO & Founder
Peter Oye holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Process Engineering from University College London (UCL), UK, and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.
He has over seven years of experience in the energy sector covering project execution, midstream, and downstream management.
Before founding Prodigious, he worked at Sahara Group as a Project Engineer where he supervised a few projects and coordinated EPCIC works of preliminaries, Front-end and Detailed Engineering Designs (FEED/DED), procurement, construction works, and commissioning, before handing over to operations within and outside Nigeria.
As a Project Engineer for GOPA-Intec Nigeria and Triple E Systems Associates, Nigeria, Peter gained requisite knowledge on the entire vertical integration from generation to transmission and finally distribution of electricity to both residential, commercial and industrial areas) as well as renewable energy.
In addition to being a professional in the power and oil & gas sectors, he also works as a Senior Consultant for top indigenous management consulting firms.
Peter is a daring leader who would stop at nothing to see his vision for Africa leading the forefront of sustainable energy production and utilization come to life.

Lekan Ogundowole

Lekan Ogundowole is an accomplished player in the Nigerian and international Energy and Infrastructure industry, particularly in Africa, Asia, and the Gulf.
He started his career as a Mechanical Engineer with Pace Technical and Engineering Services and later joined Sahara Energy Group as an Operator Supervisor.
At Sahara, Lekan’s ambidexterity and exceptional service delivery within the subsidiaries earned him notable promotions from the Head of Projects to Deputy General Manager.
Having worked in different international capacities, with a track record of success, he has become an enviable, passionate, and self-driven leader, with proven multicultural skills in leading businesses into new markets, deepening existing business relationships, diversifying, and fostering revenue growth for businesses.
Lekan is currently the Director, of Projects at Prodigious Energy, where he deploys his wealth of experience and extended network in the downstream industry activities ranging from the development and execution of multi-billion dollar projects to vessel chartering and operations to ensure unhitched project management.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos and has attended several training and courses on Leadership, Negotiations, Vessel chartering, and Facility operations.

Mubarak Abdullahi
ED, Technical
Mubarak Abdullahi holds an integrated Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, and completed his Management Acceleration Programme at Lagos Business School. He has over five years of technical experience in the oil and gas sector as a Process Design Engineer and has garnered expertise at every stage of a project lifecycle from feasibility studies, FEED, and Detailed Engineering Design through to commissioning.
He has worked on both upstream and downstream projects for companies such as Dangote, Seplat, Chevron, and Rain Oil.
At Prodigious, Mubarak has a keen interest in integrating Data Science and Machine learning into downstream operations to improve efficiency and asset management. He serves as the nexus between technical operations and Prodigious’ strategic objectives.
He is also the founder and CEO of Frux-Valorem, an end-to-end Agri-business, committed to fixing the broken value chain of a multitude of crops, with an emphasis on sesame. Frux-Valorem places an onus on backward integration to ensure the right yields are obtained at the right price points to enable profitable processing operations.

Emeka Iheme

He currently serves on the Executive Council of the Nigerian Gas Association (the premier advocacy representing the varied and numerous stakeholders in the gas sector within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.) as the Deputy Secretary-General (DSG).
Emeka has over ten years of diverse experience across the Oil & Gas value chain including but not limited to: Natural Gas Turbines & Reciprocating 7 Centrifugal Compressors Manufacturing and EPCI at Dresser-Rand (USA); Management Consulting & Enterprise Transformation Advisory for new indigenous Exploration Production & Service Companies such as Eroton, Aiteo, Neconde, DESOPADEC, Oilserv, Frazoil – Execution Edge (NG); and most recently, Upstream E&P Commercial Operations, Crude Handling, Gas Commercialization & Offtake Sales – Aiteo E&P operating OML 29 in the Niger-Delta Region of Nigeria.

Working with Stock Exchanges, Sell Side, Buy Side, and Issuers, Justin aligned his sustainability/ESG compass, by looking into scopes 1,.2,3 and 4 in supply chains, ESG as a determining factor in finance raising along with biodiversity and regenerative practices as a key metric.
As an intrapreneur, he has built businesses, teams, markets & products across numerous jurisdictions, time zones, and cultures for founder owner/operators and private equity houses starting with Bain & VSS through to KKR, Goldman, and Blackstone.
Justin proudly wears the hat of an entrepreneur and has undertaken ventures, both personal and existing scale-ups, concentrating on growth, operations, sustainability, and funding. He is execution-focused and enhances the scalability of a venture through sustainable growth measured in MRR, reduced internal and external operational friction, and builds the brand through multifaceted relationships and marketing endeavors.
Justin has spoken at events throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia, including CHOGM, The House of Lords, the European Union, and The Japanese Directors Association, and was regularly invited to speak by Citi, Deutsche Bank, BNYM, JPM along with the SGX, HKEX, JSE, LSE and NYSE at various events.

Powei Lokpobiri

At Prodigious, she is responsible for analyzing and identifying the legal risks and implications of all business transactions, keeping the senior management in all departments informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the business.
She has practical experience in advising and representing international and multinational companies as well as governments and their agencies on complex corporate and commercial issues like debt/equity financing, foreign investments, business advisory on formation and restructuring, intellectual property rights, and regulatory compliance, among others.
She routinely conducts due diligence and provides legal advisory services to clients operating a business in Art & Lifestyle, Oil & Gas, Entertainment, Literature, Power, Real Estate, Dairy production and distribution, and clients engaged in charitable endeavors.
Powei is an astute scholar and a recipient of the Dickson Poon’s Law School award for the best dissertation in the LL.M in International Financial Law at King’s College, London

Before joining Prodigious, he was part of the financial performance management team of OVH Energy marketing limited (Oando downstream).
Lekan also worked at Asset and Resources Management Company Ltd. (ARM Holding Company) where he performed several finance functions from Stock market securities trading and client advisory to Group finance manager for the Holding company. He was in charge of finance personnel for ARM AGRIC Fund.
He was a consultant to Venture Garden group as the lead finance consultant for the Obafemi Awolowo University EduTech project (1st Online post-graduate education program in Nigeria) and other similar projects.
As the Head of Finance at Prodigious Energy, Lekan demonstrates excellent leadership qualities and experience in modeling financial strategies that guarantee the company’s profitability, short and long-term.

Dr. Luqman Abidoye

He has researched and published on topics covering Climate Change and Global Warming, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Carbon Mineralization, Industrial Wastes for Carbon Capture, Seawater Enhancement of Carbon Mineralization, Low-carbon Technology, etc.
He served as a researcher and academic administrator in various universities across the world, including Loughborough University (UK), National University of Science and Technology (NUST) (Oman), and Osun State University (Nigeria). Dr. Abidoye is a recipient of various prestigious research awards, locally and internationally.
Worthy of mention are; the UK Government Award (for collaboration with Curtin University, Australia); Computational Methods in Water Resources Award (CMWR), University of Stuttgart, Germany; University of Loughborough; TETFUND’s Research Grant, The Research Council (TRC, OMAN); Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), etc.
Dr. Abidoye is a scholar of The Research Council (TRC, OMAN) and visiting researcher at International Maritime College Oman (IMCO) and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Oman. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and pioneer Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Osun State University, Nigeria.

After a series of internships, he began his career and soon become the lead designer at Payporte – delivering on several media campaigns to support and drive sales. He spent the following 4 and half years driving the design and digital media team at Sahara Group with exceptional results.
Currently, he is exploring the technology sector and serves in a leading capacity as the head of Product Design and Communications at Tempa – an African tech startup, as well as other advisory roles at other startups.
Joel has developed a solid and broad skillset in delivering PR and media, communications strategies, corporate branding, website development, editorials/press, audio-visual design, and UI/UX design, amongst others.
